Zsolt Kopa, PhD

- 1990 – Doctor of Medicine, University of Medical Sciences (Pécs)
- Resident at SOTE Urology Clinic in Budapest, later assistant lecturer; member of the andrology working group
- 1994 – Certification exam in Urology; 2004 – Certification exam in Andrology
- Graduate studies completed in Hungarian, English and German languages (Salzburg, Giessen, London)
- 1999 – Assistant Professor, later Department Head of urology and andrology of Haynal Imre Health Sciences University (later Országos Gyógyintézeti Központ); head of inpatient care and erectile dysfunction laboratory.
- Currently head of Semmelweis Medical University’s Andrology Center in the Urology Clinic
- Andrology consultant for various reproductive centers (freezing of specimens, screening of donors)
- Numerous contributions to international professional literature, over 100 lectures held at various Hungarian and international conferences.
- Major areas of interest: male infertility, male sexual disorders and disorders of the aging male.
- Winner of various awards, including special award in 2000 from the German Andrology Society
- 2006 – Doctor of Philosophy; thesis title: “Non-hormonal diagnosis of male infertility and therapeutic implications”
- Currently member of the Male Infertility Guidelines Committee of the European Urology Society, vice-president of the Hungarian Andrology Academic Society, board member of the Hungarian Society of Urology (Andrology section), member of the Urology Professional College, board member of the Hungarian STD Society and the Hungarian Sexual Medicine Working Group; secretary of the Hungarian Aging Male Society; Assistant editor of the jounal: Hungarian Andrology
