Treatment of Hyperhidrosis

Excessive or hyperperspiraton affects 3% of the population, but 48% of adolescents feel that perspiration is a problem. The tendency for hyperhidrosis begins before the age of 21 in 77% of cases, and these adolescents usually feel shame of their condition. Peers often make negative comments and exclude them from groups, as perspiration is likely to be accompanied by an offensive odor. 90% of those affected complain that peers have made negative comments. Many patients have unsuccessfully tried local antiperspirants, as well as oral preparations. Botox is an excellent solution for hyperhidrosis, which can even alleviate night sweats. The activity of sweat glands is controlled by the sympathetic nervous system and is therefore not under voluntary control; abnormal function can lead to hyperhidrosis. Botox causes a lasting reduction in sweat production and is a proven solution for the treatment of hyperhidrosis.

Lip Augmentation

The more defined lip contour, their increased fullness gives a youthful look to the lips that influences facial harmony creating a lively, younger sensation. Lip augmentation can considerably correct fine wrinkles because of aging or smoking.

Botox-treatment

Botox is a protein, widely used for face-lifting and anti-wrinkle therapies. It is the most common rejuvenation therapy in the United States, more than 2 million people have been treated with it. Botox is injected to the mimic muscles responsible for wrinkles. It inhibits neurotransmission between nerve ends and muscles, resulting in loss of muscle function and smoothing wrinkles. Treated areas: forehead, the area between the eyebrows, wrinkles around the eyes and lips, neck. Besides face-lifting it can be used for the treatment of hyperhydrosis of the armpits, palms and feet. It relieves muscle spasm of the neck and back very effectively.

Dermaroller

This is the latest and one of the most effective methods to smooth wrinkles and acne scar spots; treat pregnancy stretch marks; to enhance skin firmness and flexibility. How can a single method treat different problems? What do they have in common? – The lack of collagen! If your body could produce more collagen then you wouldn’t get any of the above mentioned problems. The Dermaroller treatment naturally encourages your body’s own collagen production in the areas it is applied. It helps to prevent or even reverse the process with collagen loss.

Face-lift with hyaluronic acid

The aging process of the face is not only characterized by the appearance of wrinkles but also the disappearance of the facial adipose tissue, especially from the medial regions of the face. The face-lift with hyaluronic acid may reverse this process. During this revolutionary new technique the skin is filled with hyaluronic acid to fill the lost volume. The loose facial skin is lifted without the use of any analgetics or occurring effusions by this bladeless, soft filling technique.

Chemical Peel

Chemical peel is the most commonly used cosmetic intervention that improves appearance and hereby helps to gather confidence. During chemical peel a chemical substance is administered to the skin that smoothes skin bumps and removes the outer, damaged layer of the skin that is replaced by a natural, juvenile and smooth skin. The name of the chemical peel depends on the used chemical substance. So if alpha hydroxy acid is used during the intervention it is called AHA chemical peel, if trichloracetic acid is used, the name is TCA chemical peel, if phenol, then the name is phenol chemical peel.

Mesobotox - effective rejuvenation without face-lifting!

Mesobotox is the latest technique to rejuvenate the face and smooth fine wrinkles. Botox is injected in the superficial layer of the skin and not in the muscle (like in case of the forehead and around the eyes) leaving the muscle layer beneath the skin untouched. The concentration of botox is changed too in this case, a 1:5-1:10 dilution of the normal botox concentration is used to smooth fine wrinkles. The treatment of the whole face has a mini-lift effect (just like a small face lift by a cosmetic surgery). It is worth combining this treatment with a traditional botox treatment to get rid of the deep forehead wrinkles and the crow’s feet wrinkles too. The effect of the treatment lasts for approx. 2-3 months.

Mesotherapy

Mesotherapy is a milestone in medical cosmetic interventions when medications, homeopathic remedies and vitamins are injected directly in the skin or the adipose tissue. The active agent is injected in almost painlessly with a very fine needle directly to the place where it is required. Mesotherapy is not a new technique; it was developed in the 1950’s in Paris for cosmetic interventions. USA acknowledged it as an effective treatment only in 1999.

Wrinkle Fill

Wrinkle fill is an injection technique where hyaluronic acid is injected in the skin with a fine needle that smoothes wrinkles, fills up lips and softens lines. Hyaluronic acid is a natural ingredient of the human body that absorbs water, hydrates and fills up the skin. Regions where wrinkle fill is most frequently used: glabella (wrinkles between eyebrows), wrinkles around the eyes and mouth, nasolabial folds (wrinkle between the nose and lips) and the angle of mouth.
