Wrinkles appear on the human face for genetic reasons, and for the exposure to the sun. The repeated movement of mimic muscles also contributes to the appearance of wrinkles. Earlier, face lifting was the only procedure to eliminate them, but the procedure was unable to treat the dynamic wrinkles caused by mimic muscles. The Botox treatment, however, has made a significant change.
Wrinkle smoothing uses hyarulon acid injections to eliminate wrinkles and make lips appear fuller. The following areas can be treated with hyaluronic acid injections: the area between the brows, wrinkles around the eyes and the lips, and wrinkle running between the nose and the lips.
The procedure usually takes less than 30 minutes, and we use local anesthetics. It may be repeated every 6 months.
Chemical peel is a procedure which involves removing the surface of the skin so that blemishes become less obvious. It uses glycolic acid suitable to every skin type.
The treatment can be repeated on a weekly basis. It usually takes 30 minutes, and normally causes no peeling or red patches.
Chemical peel does not make deep wrinkles disappear. Deep wrinkles can only be treated with Botox or hyalurinic acid injections. The best results can be achieved with the combination of these procedures.
